About us. . .
For over 100 years the Ravenswood Baptist Church has stood on the corner of Sunnyside and Seeley. Throughout our history we have sought to serve our community. With that in mind, in 1972 we started the Ravenswood Baptist Christian School and Preschool. For over three decades we have endeavored to provide not only a quality education for children, but one centered on Christian principles. We have an excellent faculty and staff, most have served us for10 years or more.
Our program. . .
Ravenswood Baptist Christian School offers a comprehensive educational program (Preschool through Grade 12) where students learn in a disciplined and safe environment, under teachers who maintain a Biblical perspective in and out of the classroom.
/ We use A Beka curriculum. Which is an advanced academic program, and based solidly on Biblical principles.
/ Our teachers and staff love children, and strive to see them succeed.
/ A preschool program for 3s and 4s, which prepares children for Kindergarten, is open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
